Famous food in my Hometown

Teluk Intan might be small, but when it comes to food it is as good as the one's that you can find in Kuala Lumpur, or maybe better than that.

                                    LIEW KEE Chee Cheong Fun

What food that Teluk Intan is most famous for is the Chee Cheong Fun!
There are usually a very long queue during weekends and during festive seasons especially Chinese New Year.

HAWAII

Yes, in Teluk Intan we have a small food stall named Hawaii which is located near to SMK Convent school which sells the best 'Ais Kacang' and the most popular one is the Coco Crunch as shown in the picture.

NASI KANDAR KRISHNAN

There are a few mamaks that are very popular for their nasi kandar and the best thing about it is the price never exceeds RM 8.00.

SATAY

Satays might taste the same but not that one stall in Qing Shui Wan. That stall will be loaded with people especially at night.

KEDAI KIPITIAM AH WAH

Kedai kopitiam Ah Wah is located in Sungai Nibong where it sells mostly known noodles like Curry mee, 'Mee rebus', soup noodles and etc. If you happen to go there, you must try out the curry mee and mee rebus.

COLISEUM, MAK CIK KIAH LAKSA

The soup of the laksa here is light, diluted, simple, yet surprisingly addictive thanks to the tasty addition of sour tamarind. A good choice for those eating between meals.

ROJAK AH CHAI

Ah Chai also serves the best rojak in Teluk Intan and it gets many good feedbacks from the tourists.

HEONG PEAH

Aside from all those heavy food, Teluk Intan is also well-known for their Heong Peah. It does not only attracts many tourists but also the local ones. It is best when it is eaten fresh from the oven and that is actually available is you request for it.
